Here at Andrew Logan’s studio we have been going through the hundreds of objects kindly donated by Clapham’s residents, libraries and schools. We have sorted them all out by colour and are in the process of incorporating them into the mosaic of the new monumental public sculptures that will be unveiled next year.

Last month we visited the FabWeld workshop in Norwich, where the steel shell of the LIBRARY letters were being fabricated by four specialist craftsmen. The steel shells then go to Andrew Logan’s studio for an application of his signature mosaic including glass, mirror and hundreds of objects donated by the community.

Andrew Logan is hard at work creating the first of his monumental sculptures for Clapham! We went to visit him in his studio in Southwark to see him work on the giant heart that will hang at the entrance to the new leisure centre off Clapham High Street.
